So I got to thinking about what Daniel said today in class – I can’t remember the quote exactly that he read from that book (((BUT Daniel if you could post it that would be great)))
And it really bothered me – it made me think about why we just sit around and complain and yet don’t ACT?? What is it – why is it that we feel afraid? In particular it made me think about how many people in our society are trying to take GOD out of everything. I see people pretending to try TO ACT about it - You know we all get the forwarded emails from friends saying something like 80% (not positive on the #) of people in America believe in some kind of Supreme Being – whatever you would like to call it. The emails always question WHY is it that the people who believe aren’t doing more?
I wonder to myself – what can I do to influence a change in what is happening? Then I find myself asking other questions where do you start? IS THERE ANYTHING I can do to change what has sadly all ready been undone, or is the pathetic attempt of forwarding emails my only “known” action option? Do you have to have a lawyer to change something anymore? What do you do when you don’t know what you can do – how then do you act on it?

Well you can always protest, but that still requires more than one person to be passionate about the subject. As for me with this last assignment, I have found that I am really not all that passionate about anything. When people say that they are passionate about something, I envision that they fell so strongly about the subject that they don't sleep at night because they are thinking so much about it. Or they spend every waking moment researching the subject. You know what, I don't feel that way about anything.
