Ok this is my first year that I am able to vote for president so I was all excited. But after hearing and reading about each candidate I am not so sure. I really do not agree with either one. I think that it would be really cool if we had a black president but then again I am very very much against abortion and Obama is for it. So then I thought hey maybe McCain will be a good candidate. But as I was in the car today I heard that he is a communist.
Why does voting have to be so difficult? When I was a little bit younger I thought that voting would be such a cool thing to do. But now that I have gotten older and wiser (I think) I have noticed that things aren't all they are cracked up to be. Not only do I not know who to vote for but I haven't even gotten registered to vote. I thought that was something that was just automatically done for you.
With everything that is going on, with the not getting registered and not having a person to vote for I have decided not to vote this year. I am hoping that when the next election rolls around hopefully things will go a little bit smoother and hopefully I will find someone that I think is worth voting for.
